Lenso UI

Agent skill

Load the repo-local Lenso UI workflow and match the installed release before implementing.

Load explicitly

The skill lives at .agents/skills/lenso-ui/SKILL.md, with setup guidance in .agents/skills/lenso-ui/references/setup.md. It is available in the source candidate; it does not activate itself or install the CLI/MCP packages.

Load that directory through your agent host's supported local skill mechanism. Host-specific loader commands are not a Lenso API. Keep the setup reference with the skill when copying or packaging it.

Version before implementation

The workflow first reads the consumer's installed @lenso/ui and @lenso/tokens versions and framework configuration. UI and tokens must match. Confirm the matching CLI's metadata --json or the MCP server's list_components metadata, including the contract digest.

When tools are unavailable, use documentation generated for the same release and report missing evidence. A cached contract from another checkout or an upstream version number is not a substitute.

Follow the actual component contract

Query the canonical family, native API, authored documentation, local examples and StyleX source as needed. Preserve native props, refs, render composition, state attributes and keyboard/focus behavior. Use the native signatures instead of adapting an older API.

Place caller xstyle last, retain runtime custom properties and merge native state-dependent style callbacks. Keep loading actions focusable while blocking activation. The architecture describes the native and local collection boundaries.

Report evidence

Run the consumer's typecheck, matching lenso check and framework build. Exercise affected opening, navigation, activation, dismissal and focus restoration. Check both themes, portalled surfaces, overflow and reduced motion where relevant.

The skill requires a distinction between passing evidence and untested behavior. It does not certify accessibility, source parity or stylesheet delivery merely because code compiled or a source example exists.
